We are looking for teams for this years football tournament. Play your way to the top of 32 teams to prove yourselves against the masters of the beautiful game.
The event itself is a football tournament with 32 sides representing corporations, international countries, as well as existing 5 a sides. The winning side will play a team of ex-Premiership legends for the Sue Ryder Cup.
There will be about 250 people in the tournament, plus guests, including Martina Czeh, Chelsea footballer Petr Czeh’s wife. Premiership legends present last year included Ray Parlour (Arsenal), Kerry Dixon (Chelsea) and Paul Parker (Manchester United).
This year we also have an after party at the IndigO2 club so even teams who did not make it to the final will be able to mingle with the ex-premiership players over a glass of bubbly!
The team pack cost is £1,200 for a squad of 8, plus 8 guests to support and attend the after party. In the past corporate teams have been paid for by the company as a team building exercise, or the company has matched whatever figure the team players have fundraised, or the team completely fundraise the cost; - but it is completely up to the company and the team.
We are also looking for existing teams and people with an interest in football who would be able to fundraise the total cost of the team pack. It may seem a lot but actually in one day collecting at a train station you can raise the full amount, as Microsoft did last year.
